Arizona Desert Ironwood Burl and Mammoth Tusk Ivory
My newest knife features one of the hardest woods i have ever used. This is the first time i have used Arizona Desert Ironwood Burl and is 75th hardwood i have worked to date. All woods have their own characteristics but this wood worked unlike anything that came before. The colour is spectacular and has zones of shimmering gold iridescence, a fantasy combination with the Mammoth Ivory and topped off perfectly with African Blackwood accent. I feel both privileged to have worked and proud to have made this knife.
